1st All-India ILDO National Championship
Chennai, India – August 31, 2025

The International Council of ILDO is pleased to announce the successful hosting of the 1st All-India ILDO National Championship, held on August 31, 2025, in Chennai, India.

This historic event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the ILDO leadership in India, who have continuously provided seminars and educational programs across various regions of the country, nurturing the next generation of ILDO practitioners.

The Indian ILDO Team has demonstrated remarkable growth and organizational development within a very short period of time. Their vision extends beyond competitions — with a strong commitment to introducing ILDO into military, police, and educational institutions, they are working to establish India as a model nation for ILDO promotion across Asia.

Furthermore, ILDO leaders from neighboring countries are collaborating with India to expand ILDO sports throughout the region, contributing to a collective effort for international growth.

Looking ahead, the ILDO movement is preparing for key milestones:

• 2026, Dubai – International ILDO Seminar

• 2026, July (Republic of Korea) – Grand International ILDO Seminar

• 2027 – ILDO World Championship (preparatory stage begins with international participation)

These events will serve not only as training and educational opportunities but also as a unifying platform for leaders, representatives, and practitioners from all participating nations to prepare for the first-ever ILDO World Championship in 2027.
